On September 7, 2022, Mr. Kobchai Sungsitthisawad (Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry), Mr. Panuwat Triyangkulsri (Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry), Mr. Baworn Sattayawathiphong (Director of Strategy and Planning Division Department of Industrial Works) and the delegation visited AGP CORPORATION and visited the Haneda branch office which is a major shareholder of AGPT.

The company took a tour of AGP’s “underground GPU”, a unique technology in Japanese airports. and describes this technology, which has contributed to the reduction of CO2 emissions by approximately 204,000 tons per year.

And the Ministry of Industry of Thailand also wrote a note on the website about the visit to the Haneda branch office.

They also visited Japan’s first aircraft battery-powered GPU development and demonstration at Narita Airport. and how to reduce CO2 emissions with battery-powered GPUs in Carbon Neutrality in the aviation and logistics industry. This is an advantage for Thailand which is looking to develop into the future.

The company has cooperated with AGP Headquarters to promote the link between the economic development of Japan and Thailand and promote the Carbon Neutrality policy of both countries.
